Resonant Bodies Artists' Residency & Finisage

Kutaisi, Georgia / Tbilisi, Georgia

Resonant Bodies is a 14-day experimental residency that functions as a platform for collective research, dialogue and action around these questions. As twelve human beings from diverse cultures, fields and backgrounds, we will enter into an open ended dialogical process. Half Georgians, half Internationals, we will form a temporary intentional community that explores the depths of being and becoming-with and learning from each other. Together we will take the time to slow down, to open up to our full experience and become aware of the felt nuances of our exchanges.

OTHER FIELDS

MOOS Space

Berlin

OTHER FIELDS explores the space between the acoustic and the electronic, shifting between modern and ancient tuning systems to create spaces for highly attentive and sensitive listening experiences. Our music works with microtonality, spectral processes, and analog synthesis techniques to generate shifting textural soundscapes and complex timbral shifts in space and time. Our members have performed across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, in spaces ranging from Berlin Philharmonie to Vienna’s Pratersauna, from the Patagonian desert to abandoned mining tunnels in Los Angeles.
